About
Hi! My name is Erin, a true Colorado native with an unquenchable passion for the great outdoors. For over a decade, I've called Crested Butte and the Gunnison Valley my home, embracing every opportunity to explore the stunning landscapes that surround me. In 2017, I initiated the Gunnison Valley Women's Network, an incredible local women's networking group that has blossomed with enthusiasm over the years. Through this endeavor, my goal is to empower and support women, creating a welcoming environment for them to thrive personally and professionally.
With my insatiable thirst for adventure, you'll often find me partaking in a myriad of outdoor activities that reflect my deep love for Colorado's natural beauty. From skiing down powdery slopes to hiking mountain trails, paddle boarding on serene waters, horseback riding through picturesque valleys, cowgirling with authentic spirit, and fishing in tranquil streams, I immerse myself in the wonders of nature.
My connection to my community is just as strong as my bond with the outdoors. With a string desire to serve my community, I spent over a decade volunteering as a Firefighter/EMT with the Crested Butte Fire Protection District, making a significant impact on the safety and well-being of my fellow community members.
My love for travel has taken me on unforgettable adventures, exploring diverse cultures and embracing novel experiences. From exploring the historic sites and culture of Chile's coast to hiking and paddle boarding on the enchanting island of Kauai, I cherish every moment of discovery.
My passion for the outdoors was kindled during my formative years, exploring the mountainside and fishing in my hometown of Empire, Colorado. My bond with horses and horsemanship blossomed on my mother's ranch back in Oregon, and I even showcased my equestrian skills on a rodeo team after high school.
Embracing the joy of continuous learning, I recently rekindled my love for hunting and fishing in the Gunnison Valley. I believe in sharing my love for horses and outdoor activities with others, especially women, aiming to shatter barriers and create a vibrant, inclusive, and safe environment for all. My mission is to empower women to embrace the outdoors, discover their passions, and unlock their full potential.
