The ICELab ~ A Brilliant Workspace

We held our October Women's Networking Night (WNN) at the new ICELab Cafe on the Western State Colorado University (WSCO) Campus. What a neat work space to have been created and what a brilliant idea!

WSCU is fast becoming the focal point for entrepreneurs from around the entire Western Slope with the opening of the ICELab and ICELab Cafe. Located in Escalante Hall, the ICELab offers unique workspaces for entrepreneurs, new start-up businesses, expanding businesses and students. They offer work spaces from fully furnished desk spaces and furnished office spaces to conference room use. Not only do they offer fully modular workspace, they also offer gigabit internet, and Colorado Small Business Development Center (CSBDC) consulting, specialty workshops and training. The services offered at the ICELab are unmatched throughout the Gunnison Valley making the ICELab a true asset to the students and community.

The ICELab Cafe offers a bright, open, quiet atmosphere for students and the public to enjoy great food or a drink while they study or work. They offer First Ascent Coffee as well as a selection of beers, wines and spirits. Their food was excellent and staff members were very friendly.

The transformation of Escalante Hall is truly a work of art. Built over 50 years ago, Escalante Terrace has been used as a women's cafeteria, a residence hall, a haunted house and many may remember it as the gymnasium.
